In the fourth quarter of 2024, Greece's social networking app landscape showed intriguing trends across downloads, revenue, and active user metrics, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Grindr - Gay Dating & Chat saw a consistent weekly revenue, starting at approximately $12K and slightly varying throughout the quarter, closing at around $10.6K. Downloads fluctuated modestly, peaking at 676 in late December, while active users decreased from 12.1K to just over 10.8K.

Rakuten Viber Messenger maintained a strong presence with weekly revenues reaching up to $6.7K. Downloads peaked at over 20K in the week before Christmas, and active users consistently hovered around 4.2M, showing a stable user base.

Telegram Messenger experienced a steady revenue increase, closing at about $6K weekly. Downloads remained stable, with a notable peak of 12.8K in early December. Active users showed resilience, starting and ending the quarter around the 800K mark.

OmeTV – Video Chat Alternative had a more variable performance. Revenue saw a gradual decline to around $3.3K by year-end. Downloads surged to 5K during the holiday season, while active users rose to over 30K by the end of December.

Facebook demonstrated consistent engagement, with revenue fluctuating slightly around $3K. Downloads peaked at over 18K in late December, and active users remained robust, fluctuating near 3M throughout the quarter.
